Capturing Pets

Of the 9 monster families, currently only beastkin, humanoid, mechen and elementa can be captured.

To capture, target the monster you want. A yellow bag will appear, if it is tameable, in the right hand corner of their health bar. Once you engage the monster in battle and it has taken enough damage the bag icon will begin to blink. You can then use a net to attempt to capture it. Unfortunately the rate of capture is not 100% so several attempts may be necessary.

Once a pet is captured it appears in your inventory as a pink egg with a ribbon. At this point you can only see its nature, number of skills and pet rank. You can use items such as a mirror of true form to identify and view more stats including affinity ad fusion elements.
